Getting into Wakfu and dumping the download links for anyone interested!

Wakfu is a 2008 French cartoon set within the world of an MMORPG of the same name, which is set 1000 years after the production company's other MMO, Dofus. The series follows a group of adventurers aiding The Hero, Yugo, in his search to find his true family. Together, they battle their way through various dangers, all the while being chased by Nox, a time-manipulating mad-man powered by the energy of all living creatures (the wakfu), which he harvests through swarms of parasitic, robotic bugs. The whole show is completely kid-friendly, since the target audience is 8-10 years old, but tons of jokes are aimed directly at older audiences and fans of the game, and the plot itself matures enormously.

I'm enjoying it bunches and I'm only four episodes in atm.  Very recommended!

UPDATED (07/13/10): Added links to the softsubs for 24-26 also in high quality. The streams won't reflect the quality that the giant filesize should make clear. Still no answer on why some streams won't work! You may just have to download those (you can only get through like three episodes before MegaVideo hits your viewing limit anyway, so you might be forced to get used to downloading to satiate your hunger for Wakfu. If you're that hungry for Wakfu, remember -- don't start harvesting energy off living beings, especially if you have a family you want to go back in time to save!)

so like we're moving and I'm extremely loathe to just toss all these games when I have people I can give them away to.

while this is mostly a reference for me, if any of you guys see anything you want on these lists, I'll send 'em to you for only the price of shipping.  I'd much rather they have a home than a place in a landfill just because I really loved playing some of these games (it'll be super hard to part with Legend of Mana!)

just comment if you want to claim something, I can take photos/tell you if there isn't an instruction manual or original case if applicable (I had trouble keeping those things together. :I) also, if you mention it I can send you one of the old classic Playstation Magazine demo discs, or a JAMPACK demo disc along with whatever you want.  they're good for nostalgia.

I may have found a medical reason why I've been so dicks at everything for like six years now.

key word: may.  it's not official yet because apparently there's tests for this kind of thing and I need to fit whatever definitions people have set.  is it bad that I'm almost excited that there might be something special wrong with me instead of just being a general all-around fuckup?

still.  I can't let myself use this as an excuse to fail what I'm doing now, though.  I have two weeks to get my shit together and I'm going to do that if it kills me.

I'm grateful that I have friends that can help me through this, but it feels awful putting this burden -- imaginary or otherwise -- on them.  I want help but I don't want it.  I want people to know how I feel, but I don't.  my brain is so full of fuck-all dualities that it's no wonder I can't concentrate on anything.

I... have no words, but I have to communicate somehow.  I don't know how to explain anymore.

so yesterday I totally flipped a shit.  in a twenty mile radius of where I was: ladies fainting, men screaming.  it was amazing.

despite everything, it was a very therapeutic experience.  I'll tell anyone this: if you want to really blow off steam, buy some cheap umbrellas and go apetit on them.  you'll feel awesome, I promise.

I think that next semester, my life is going to go in a completely direction.

how does one go from playwright -> psych major?

this is assuming I can buckle down and get through these last seven weeks without wanting to tear my hair out.  I don't know, it just feels like life is going too fast sometimes, that I need to know what I want to do for the next fifty years right now and if I don't succeed then I'm boned.  I like too much.  I want to write, I want to act, I want to play music, I want to draw comics, I want to create.  and I guess more recently, I... want to help people.  and as dubious as some people think psychiatrists are, I think that they do help.  from personal experience.  if not help, then maybe I just want to understand people.

I'm only nineteen years old, maaaan, I really just want to sit around watching cartoons.

and yeah, I know my parents will love me no matter what I do.  but sometimes it's hard having a successful older sibling, you know?

I'm just going to have to prove I can do it.  second semester, you're going down.

so this past evening (morning?) was the first all nighter I've pulled in a while.

• if my Scarecrow and my friend's Scarecrow met, they would not brofist.  they would crowfist.
• a crowfist involves bumping fists, forming a pair of wings with the paired hands, and then flapping away in unison while going CAWW CAWW.
• this would look like the dorkiest thing ever IRL but I'd totally make it my secret brofist handshake with someone.
• every child from elementary school to about 7th or 8th grade was born after Toy Story came out.  to them, computer generated animation is the norm.
• sometimes I feel like I'm really old, even though I'm only 19
• as of a few days ago, I'm not lying when I put "19" on my RP apps.  I swear that all the times before it was an accident.
• I have a paper due tomorrow.  I probably need to start on that.
• I'm afraid that I'm going to fall asleep in the middle of my short stories class.  why the hell did my spot have to be right next to the professor goddamnit.
• Cillian Murphy plays the ukulele and I hate his beautiful face.
• no seriously, I have a horrible, visceral reaction when I see his face; it usually manifests itself in the form of an involuntary "HNNGGRCK" or a "GODFUCKINGDAMNIT" when I see thatafknsna losingnng abilituty to type
• I think I have now made it one of my goals in life to challenge Cillian Murphy to a ukulele-off.  loser has to take hits of fear gas and dress in drag.  or does that make them a winner?
• popsicle sticks tell horrible riddles.
• I am genuinely worried that this will become The Story Of My Life
• breakfast is in twenty minutes
• I don't care much for poached eggs
